The team at Neomancer brings with us close to a century of combined experience as leaders in the field of human-centered technology.
We have focused on human-machine interaction, user interface, and user experience, long before UX became a catchphrase.
Our accolades include international design awards, work on numerous issued and pending patents, systems used at the New York Stock Exchange and the New York Mercantile Exchange floors, work exhibited at the world-famous Museum of Modern Art in New York, and even one of the first large scale commercial product-centered Web sites ever built.
Choosing not to rest on our laurels, we created Neomancer to bring a totally different approach to problem-solving by using technology where it truly fits. Designed and developed to be easy to use; built to integrate and improve the human processes that inspired them in the first place; executed to create an experience that enhances the tasks, and most of all, created and custom-tailored for you.
Juey Chong Ong
Co-founder / Partner
Juey has over 25 years of professional experience in computers and information technology. He was previously with Mirella Media, Inc., and Digital Image Design Incorporated. In 2003 he co-founded Neomancer with Hai Ng, furthering his practice in concierge computing services for businesses, education, non-profit organizations and individuals.
He currently works with Estate Assist and the Edward R. Pressman Film Corporation. Previously, he was a key member of the engineering group at BringIt, Inc., and IGT.
Juey has deployed solutions for Boeing, the US Navy, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and UBS, among others. Clients on the consumer side included Proctor and Gamble, Fannie Mae, and Sesame Workshop. He has also developed custom apps for the pharmaceutical industry including portfolio risk management, compliance and mobile medical information applications.
Juey received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland in College Park and M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University, and was granted U. S. Patent 7,236,996. He is a singer in NYChoral, and a photographer.
Hai Ng
Co-founder / Partner
Hai is often described by our clients and peers as a Renaissance man; a polymath, possessing breadth and depth of knowledge in a wide variety of fields, with the ability to apply his skills to conjure solutions to problems.
As a technologist, Hai's focus includes gaming and game design in regulated gambling, skill-based gaming, gamification and general entertainment; gaming and behaviors in social ecosystems; human factors, interaction and user experience in product and interface design; media in digital, film and television; security, privacy, policies and infrastructure in technical operations; and technology in the arts.
As an analyst and advisor, Hai actively works with companies ranging from startups to multi-national corporations, including Continent 8 Technologies, the iGaming industry's most awarded data center and network services company.
Hai is also a regular technology contribtor to leading gaming industry publication, iGaming Business, and the Fantasy Sports & eSports Section Editor for iGaming Business North America.
Beyond Neomancer, Hai is a creator, musician, and photographer, with published works and several award-winning achievements including a commission exhibited at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
